Fabrication Lab

From physical objects to digital models, and from design to fabrication.

The Fabrication Lab connects design with making. 3D printing, CNC machining and laser cutting or engraving help us test ideas, create components and improve prototypes.

We design, select materials, measure and redesign. Our work includes educational constructions, electronics enclosures, robotic parts and experimental assemblies, with an emphasis on safe and responsible tool use.

Through 3D scanning, physical objects are transformed into digital models for analysis, editing, redesign and reproduction through 3D printing. Applications include reverse engineering, digital documentation and the digitisation of cultural heritage objects.
