We are incredibly proud to share that 12 elementary students from the Paros Innovation Center – School of Robotics and Programming successfully competed in the regional BaSTEMball competition for the South Aegean Islands, held on March 15th in Syros — part of the National STEM Competition 2025 — and all 12 have advanced to the finals in Athens! 🎉
BaSTEMball is an exciting, team-based game designed for primary school students, where TpBot robots powered by Micro:bit are used in a high-energy basketball-style match. Students form alliances and try to score as many baskets as possible using remote-controlled robots on a custom-designed court — blending engineering, coding, and fast-paced strategy.
These young innovators impressed with their skill, teamwork, and creativity, securing their place in the 1st Mediterranean STEM Competition, which will take place at Helexpo in Athens on April 5th. 🚀🏟️
A massive congratulations to the students, their mentors, and everyone supporting their journey. Paros is proud to be represented by such bright future changemakers!
