Big news from Paros!

As the Founder and Academic Director of the School of Educational Robotics at the Paros Innovation Center, I’m incredibly proud and honored to have been selected as a Micro:bit Champion 2025!

What is a Micro:bit Champion?
Micro:bit Champions are global educators and innovators who are passionate about making digital skills and creative coding accessible to all. We collaborate, share best practices, and work to bring meaningful tech experiences to young learners — no matter where they live.

Why I was selected:
Our school has been at the forefront of introducing hands-on robotics and coding to students on Paros Island and beyond. With a strong focus on inclusion, creativity, and impact, our work aligns with the Micro:bit Foundation’s mission to inspire every child to create their best digital future.

What this means for us:
This year, we’re taking our vision even further — bringing Micro:bit to students across the smallest and most remote islands of the South Aegean. From local classrooms to island communities, we’re committed to making sure every child gets a chance to explore, create, and grow with technology.

I’m beyond excited to connect with a global community of changemakers and share the incredible journey of our students here in Greece.
